Kathy hopes that her photographs bring laughter and comfort to those experiencing life changing events. She wishes to honor friends, patients and family members that have demonstrate tremendous inner strength and determination in fighting life threatening health issues. She also hopes that those experiencing a loss of a loved one will find comfort and closure during life’s most difficult time.

Susan Bunevich
Susan is a Breast Health Specialist at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. As a nurse educator, she teaches women and men about the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. However, she feels that her patients teach her far more about life and living. This artwork is her tribute to her patients who amaze and humble her on a daily basis.
Sally Cammenga
Sally Cammenga, is a sales administrator from Holland, Michigan.  When asked about donating her photographs to Kathy’s Care Cards, Sally wrote:  “Cancer seems to touch so many of our lives in some way.  In our family, my father and my husband Eric’s mother are both cancer survivors.  My good friend, nearing the end of her battle with ovarian cancer has been so strong during her struggle; never giving up hope. Even though we have been friends since we were children, I was at a loss as to what to say to her until Kathy shared her cards with me. Eric & I hope that sharing our photos through Kathy’s Care Cards will provide an avenue for others to reach out to those they care about who are facing such difficult challenges.”
Anne Collins
Growing up in a family of nurses, artist Anne Collins saw many people struggle with their faith while being challenged by illness and depression.  By donating her artwork to Kathy's Care Cards, Anne hopes to share her love and hope with others who are going through life-altering events. Anne would like to remind them that even when they feel that they alone, they are not.
Janet Cozzens
Janet’s mother, sister and father have all suffered from serious disease. Janet had always enjoyed art and believes it has helped her get through difficult situations in life.  She believes art can help others as well and wants to use her artistic skill on Kathy’s Care Cards to bring enjoyment and comfort to those suffering from serious diseases.
Chris Daugherty
As a professional photographer, Chris “Doc” Daugherty has experienced the world from a variety of different views—from airplanes and oil rigs, to underwater and other countries. Now, as he battles Multiple Sclerosis, Chris has taken the time to reflect on the images he’s taken and to appreciate the experiences he has had. Chris feels that life is good, regardless of the struggles and disappointments that come with dealing with MS. He hopes that others experiencing life’s challenges will remember that life is full of possibilities and that you never really know what tomorrow will bring.
Caroline Dechert
Caroline has lost family and friends to Cancer and Heart Disease. Currently, she is caring for her mother who is a stroke victim. Caroline is inspired by the grit and perseverance of her family and friends who battle to return to a healthier life.  She hopes her art up-lifts the hearts of those battling these life-threatening illnesses.
Taylor Edwards
As a seventh grader in Westerville City Schools, Taylor created this artwork for Kathy's Kids Cards. She enjoys creating art pieces and exhibiting them in the halls of her school. Taylor would like to dedicate the picture on this Kathy's Kids Card to her family members that have died from cancer and to those that are now faced with their own cancer journey. She hopes that her painting will be enjoyed and that it will cheer up people who are facing life-altering events.
Jackie Farrow
Jackie is a seventh-grader in Westerville Ohio. She enjoys reading, drawing and spending time with friends. She hopes her artwork brightens the day of those who are struggling with life's traumas.
Ellen Hughes
Ellen Hughes, a Kathy’s Kids Cards artist, donates her artwork in honor and memory of her 6th grade Band Director and also her 6th grade Math Teacher who lost their courageous battles with colon cancer and melanoma skin cancer.

Alex, a Kathy’s Kids Card artist, loves soccer, basketball and drawing. She donates her artwork in honor of her grandmother, a 5-year breast cancer survivor.

As a middle school student, Shannon created  artwork for Kathy’s Kids Cards. Shannon is a cheerleader and plays softball and volleyball.  She enjoys drawing and loves school.  She would like to share her art with others to brighten their day and to give back to her community.
Peg Kuhns & Anne Beebe
Peg Kuhns (left), from Columbus, Ohio, has been a nurse specializing in  vascular disease for over 25 years. Peg memorializes her life-long friend, Anne Beebe (right), by sharing Anne’s photographs with Kathy’s Care Cards.  Though Anne lost her battle with lung cancer, she never lost her spirit and positive attitude.  Peg hopes that Anne’s photographs bring laughter and awareness to those individuals facing similar challenges.
Brad Kuntz
Brad is a 25-year-old Spanish teacher. His love of other lands and cultures has taken him through 25 countries on four continents. He hopes this glimpse of the beauty of the world will help rejuvenate the spirits of those suffering from Cancer.
